The East Providence Library Foundation, incorporated in 2019, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established for the purpose of securing funds and distributing resources to support the Library’s mission of self-education and lifelong learning. The Foundation supplements, not replaces, traditional public funding for the Library, with the understanding that outstanding libraries exist with public funds yet thrive with the support of private gifts to provide an extra margin of excellence.

We are fortunate in that the City of East Providence offers dedicated tax revenue to support the Library’s educational offerings; many public libraries do not. However, the City’s support cannot meet the overwhelming demand for such services within East Providence. We incorporated in 2019 to help expand services offered by the ALL Office and Fuller Center.

Donor Privacy Policy

We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any non-related parties, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. If requested, donations may be kept anonymous to all but our President and Treasurer.
